As of April 1st, 2013, Hogar Immigrant Services’ Education Services will be moving from 6201 Leesburg Pike Falls Church, Virginia to 8251 Shoppers’ Square Manassas, Virginia. In accordance with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington’s mission to welcome the stranger and to help immigrants become self-sufficient and fully participating members of the community, Hogar will continue to provide intensive English and Citizenship classes at the Manassas site. The new site will allow Catholic Charities to extend its services further into the diocese and into Prince William County, which currently has very limited resources for immigrant populations.  In order to continue serving our current client base in Falls Church, citizenship classes will continue at the current Leesburg Pike address.  Additionally, Hogar will be opening an evening English class site at St. James Parish and a morning English class site at Catholic Charities’ Migration and Refugee Services building, near the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington.  Hogar’s Legal Services will remain, unaffected, at the current Falls Church location. If you have any questions about the move or would like information about volunteering at the Manassas site, please contact us at 571 208 1572 or email volunteer.hogar@ccda.net
